About OMPS Preschool

The OMPS Preschool Program will align with the core operational and learning principles of Old Mission Peninsula School, in an environment of respect, responsibility, courage, and kindness. The OMPS Preschool is designed to foster connection with children's eagerness and readiness to learn and promote the social-emotional development of each child so that each child has the opportunity to develop mental, social and physical capacity and skills that will serve them well as they grow into their childhood and future adulthood. The OMPS classroom is designed to be a warm, engaging and safe space to learn and grow. Preschool activities will include regular play, exploration and learning opportunities within the extensive outdoor campus available at Old Mission.
The OMPS Preschool uses Connect4Learning® as the curriculum. Connect4Learning® is a research-based, classroom tested interdisciplinary prekindergarten curriculum. Developed through funding from the National Science Foundation, it integrates research-validated teaching methodologies from early childhood experts in mathematics, science, literacy, and social-emotional learning. Learn more about Connect4Learning® HERE.

Preschool Hours are 8:15 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. and will follow the regular OMPS school schedule for the 2022-2023 school year. The first day of school and preschool is scheduled for
September 6, 2022.

If you would like to enroll in the OMPS Preschool for 2022-2023, please email your name and contact information and ages of your children you wish to enroll to l.derris@ompschool.org.
All fees are required to be paid in advance of your child attending the Preschool Program.
OMPS Preschool fees may be made by two methods:

Option 1. Pay via the school payments management system called EZ School Apps (current OMPS families may be familiar with this program because OMPS uses the EZ School Apps Lunch Payment System for our lunch program).
Click this link: https://www.ezschoolapps.com/ParentLogin.aspx to set up an EZ School Payments account. The school will link you to your child in the system and your payments owed will be applied by the school to your account.

What can I do when I sign up for EZ School Apps?
Use your credit card to deposit money into your child(ren)’s account anytime from anywhere using any browser.
View your child’s account balance 24/7.
Receive notifications when your child’s account balance is low.

What are my payment options?
Credit Card/Debit Card: The convenience fees for the use of a credit or debit card are:
$1.95 for any deposits $50 or under
2.90% + $0.30 for any deposits over $50

What is my child’s current balance?
You can log into your child's account here to find their balance at the bottom of the page.
If you have any questions, please contact us at 231.252.0225 or info@ompschool.org.

Option 2. Pay by check mailed to the school. OMPS is not able to accept or process cash payments, but checks can be mailed to the school address. Please ensure your check is mailed in advance of the 15th of each month so that payments can be processed by that deadline.
  1. Pay full yearly payment by September 15th.
  2. Pay monthly - payments due by the 15th of the preceding month. These payments will be based on the monthly rate listed on the OMPS Preschool Fee Schedule.
Please make complete payment on a timely basis. OMPS must collect Program fees at these specific due dates in order to operate the Preschool Program and pay our teachers.
