Camp Island View Mission

To help each camper build a sense of self,
a sense of community and
a sense of wonder through fun and
adventure in an outdoor and indoor environment. ​

July 15 - 18, 2024                 Cooking Camp - Ages Rising 1st - 3rd Grade   - SOLD OUT 
$200 per Student                  Children will learn to be a junior chef!
Max 20 students                   They will learn how to follow recipes, measure ingredients
                                               and create a balanced diet. 2-3 recipes will be made each day,
                                               along with a craft time and outdoor play!
                                               Stay tuned for special guest appearances as well!

July 15 - 18, 2024                Culinary Camp - Ages Rising 4th - 6th Grade -SOLD OUT 
$200 per Student                Children will acquire valuable cooking and baking skills while having fun!
Max 20 students                  They will learn about recipes, ingredients, kitchen safety,
                                              balanced plates and teamwork. Be prepared to get messy!
                                              It’s a 100% hands-on approach!

July 22 - 25, 2024               Let's Learn Spanish! - Ages Rising 2nd - 6th Grade - SOLD OUT                                    
$200 per Student                 The kiddos will be introduced to basic Spanish. 
Max 20 students                   Learning numbers, days of the week, how to introduce yourself
                                              and vocabulary terms.  We will also compare and contrast
                                              different Spanish-speaking countries, including their culture,
                                              food and the differences in how their Spanish is spoken.

July 22 - 25, 2024              Junior Panther Basketball Camp - Ages Rising 1st - 3rd Grade  SOLD OUT 
$200 per Student                This camp would provide instruction in fundamental basketball skills.
Max 20 students                 Children will gain an understanding of the game of basketball and                                                                                               the importance of teamwork in a fun and competitive environment.
                                             Campers will receive coaching about the mental and physical skills
                                             necessary to be successful on and off the court.
                                             Students will also get to spend time outside and crafting! 
                                             Instructors: Margot Woughter and Katie Kellogg 

July 22 - 25, 2024                Senior Panther Basketball Camp - Ages Rising 4th - 6th Grade - SOLD OUT
$200 per Student                  This camp would provide instruction in fundamental basketball

July 29 - August 1, 2024     Outdoor Explorers -  Ages Rising 1st - 3rd Grade - SOLD OUT 
$200 per Student                Children will be given hands-on science experiments. 
Max 20 students                  Through exploration and play, students will perform a variety
                                              of lessons that are centered around science and the outdoors.

$200 per Student                 Children will learn a variety of fun beginner cheerleading skills and                                                  Max 20 students                  practice a routine to perform on the last day to families!

Information:

Due to licensing restrictions for summer programs, campers must be rising 1st graders through
rising 6th graders. Each camp describes eligible grade levels, depending on the complexity of
the topic. All camps are run by staff members currently employed by Old Mission Peninsula
School and operate from Monday through Thursday 9:00am-3:00pm.

Students bring their own lunch, snack and water bottle.

Registration will begin February 1st, until all camps are full. Registration does not guarantee admittance. A confirmation email will be sent to each family after registration and a spot will be secured once payment is received. Payment is non-refundable. Spots are limited, so register early! Complete 1 registration per child.

Beginning Cheerleading Camp

​Students will learn a variety of fun beginner cheeleading skils and practice a routine to perform on the last day. They will learn chants, dances, cheers and more! Students will practice teamwork and school spirit! Go Panthers! Instructor: Natalie Platt

WHO: 2nd through 5th Grade
COST: $168 per camper, due at the time of acceptance

Lego Club

Our class aims to helps students think outside the box, literally! They will learn how to put their pwn ideas into brick form. Explore legos through fun different themes. Instructor: Leticia Diego

Camp Philophy

Partnering with the community to create a positive camp experience blending "good old-fashioned camp fun" with new discoveries where campers make lasting memories and friends. 

 Camp Sessions 
Due to licensing restrictions for aftercare programs, campers must be Kindergarten through 5th graders. Each camp describes eligible grade levels. All camps are run by staff members currently employed by Old Mission Peninsula School and operate from 3:30-5:00 pm.  

Students bring their own snack and water bottle. 

Registration will begin Monday, November 13th. Registration does not guarantee admittance. A confirmation email will be sent to each family after registration and a spot will be secured once payment is received. Payment is non-refundable. Spots are limited, so register early! Complete 1 registration per child. 

Camps are subject to cancellation if less than 7 students are registered.
