Dear Parents and Families, We are so excited that you are here with us! We are always looking at ways to improve our daily routines and make things as efficient as possible for both our students and you, our parents! We are sticking with the same procedure as last year, but hope that we can make it even more efficient this school year.
A quick overview: Cars will pull up to our numbered (#1-5) signs. These are the only places students can enter the car. All siblings will be standing together at the numbered spot ready to jump in. There are a couple of things we need your help with to make this work smoothly.
1. When you are coming up the hill, can you make sure that you have your Green Mirror Hang hanging up (Orange if you are in Pre-K). Sometimes we know the family vehicle, but sometimes we do not. Also please print the names BIG and DARK on the green tag. If you need another please let us know!
2. If you have an infant car seat in the car, it is helpful if that seat is on the driver’s side. The passenger side will be the only side that the students can enter on. (This is a safety issue as we want to keep students on the sidewalk side.)
3. Once you are in the loop, please be looking for the person with the walkie talkie. He or she will be letting you know which numbered cone you will park next to. This way we will have your students waiting at the cone for you when you get there.
If you happen to be the first car in the pick up line, please wait by the double orange cones (see in picture) until the bus has passed you as the bus is first in line. Then proceed to the first cone behind the bus.
