Preschool Camp Island View Mission

To help each camper build a sense of self,
a sense of community and
a sense of wonder through fun and
adventure in an outdoor and indoor environment.

2 Camp Options:
Week 1 July 14-17 : Outdoor Explorers:
This camp is for children 3-6 years old interested in having adventures in nature! Everyday campers will spend time exploring hands-on activities to build skills in nature, conservation, and the wilderness. This camp also includes plenty of time for fun summer activities like sprinklers, water play and exploring our nature campus. Students are encouraged to bring sunscreen as we will be sending the majority of the day outdoors!

Week 2 July 21-24: Art and Nature Crafts Week:
This camp is for children 3-6 years of age interested in making art with nature. Each day students will gather "art supplies" from nature in order to make art, crafts, presents, and masterpieces. Students will be learning how to be resourceful with what nature provides. Each art project will have a topic in mind but be open ended so the student can freely decide what the outcome is. At the end of the week students will have an art show for the class to present all of the nature related art crafts.

Information:

Due to licensing restrictions for summer programs, campers must be ages 3 - 6 years old. Each camp describes eligible grade levels, depending on the complexity of the topic. All camps are run by staff members currently employed by Old Mission Peninsula School and operate from Monday through Thursday 9:00am-3:00pm.

Students bring their own lunch, snack and water bottle.

Registration will be open, until all camps are full. Registration does not guarantee admittance. Once you fill out the form
Ms. Derris will be reaching out to you to fill out the rest of the registeration. A confirmation email will be sent to each family after registration is complete and a spot will be secured once payment is received. Payment is non-refundable. Spots are limited, so register early! Complete 1 registration per child.

Summer Camp discipline policy can be found here.
